Mr. Keogh has extensive operations and reorganization expertise, with significant experience leading the identification, design and implementation of performance programs across a broad range of industries, including automotive, chemicals, financial services, nuclear, paper, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, retail and telecommunications. He has a strong background in manufacturing, marketing, inventory management, sales force effectiveness, revenue enhancement and supply chain management. Additionally, Mr. Keogh has broad international experience, having worked in Hong Kong and Asia, United Kingdom and Europe, Australia, Canada, Mexico and the United States.
Most recently, Mr. Keogh co-led an 18-month supply chain turnaround for a $7.0 billion retailer with over 3,500 retail locations. Working across the key functions of sourcing, merchandising and finance, the turnaround reduced product costs by $48 million and strengthened the balance sheet by $250 million through inventory rightsizing and strengthening buyer capabilities.
Mr. Keogh also designed and directed a five-month initiative for a $2.0 billion private distributor of building products with over 300 distributor locations in North America, delivering and increase in annualized profit of $30.5 million. In addition, he led the eight-month sales reorganization of the largest global manufacturer of specialty polymers, delivering over $22 million in financial benefits through operations, product, costumer and asset rationalization.
Mr. Keogh’s most notable clients include ABC Supply, Aventis, BNSF, Bowater, BP, Celanese/Ticona, CRH Oldcastle, EMC Insurance Companies, Ford, Honeywell, Jaguar, Pioneer Companies, RadioShack and Shell.
Prior to working in advisory services, Mr. Keogh served as marketing senior vice president for an international logistics company based in the United States. Earlier in his business career, Mr. Keogh led the regional marketing efforts for a Fortune 100 company, growing the business from $40 million to $170 million in four years. In this role, he was responsible for all marketing programs to support a complex multi-channel distribution model with over 250 sales people, direct and indirect retail channels and a multi-state distributor network.
Mr. Keogh has authored various articles on inventory management and supply chain management.
Mr. Keogh holds an M.B.A. from the Owen School of Management at Vanderbilt University and a B.D.Sc. from the University of Queensland in Australia. Mr. Keogh is a trained six sigma black belt and a lean practitioner. |
