Prior to joining FTI, Mr. Lefebvre worked as an independent consultant and provided a wide range of high-level IT services. He served as interim CIO at a Chapter 11 turnaround, where he stopped significant workforce attrition, rebuilt the staff and improved morale. Mr. Lefebvre prioritized and completed critical business projects, which reduced staff and cut costs. He prepared a request for proposal to outsource IT in its entirety and selected a vendor. As an independent consultant, Mr. Lefebvre has also assisted companies in developing IT strategies and selecting enterprise systems.
Mr. Lefebvre worked for more than eight years in the automotive industry, most recently as vice president of IT and CIO of a newly formed privately held $2 billion Tier I/II supplier. He completed large-scale IT integrations at three acquired companies, including business and engineering systems, computer operations, personal computing, data communications and telephony. Further, Mr. Lefebvre implemented corporate financial shared services, consolidated disparate enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, outsourced regional data centers and reduced data communications costs. He also participated in mergers and acquisitions, redesigned business processes and implemented a full suite ERP at the newly acquired businesses.
Prior to that, Mr. Lefebvre worked for more than 15 years in various IT positions within GE Aircraft Engines (now GE Aviation), a $10 billion business. He supported most key business functions, including finance, product development, manufacturing, product support, purchasing, and human resources. Before that, Mr. Lefebvre spent nearly 10 years in the United States Air Force where he supported aircraft logistics and taught at the Air Force Academy.
Mr. Lefebvre holds an M.A. in management from Central Michigan University and a B.A. in liberal arts from Laval University in Canada. Mr. Lefebvre has spoken at many industry events on the role of a CIO and as a guest lecturer at local university graduate IT programs. |
