| Stephen Dubé is a senior managing director in FTI’s Corporate Finance practice and is based in Dallas. Mr. Dubé is a member of FTI’s Communications, Media and Entertainment practice. He is an experienced business leader and turnaround professional with more than 20 years of experience in operating, restructuring and investing in telecommunications, service and technology businesses.

| Mr. Dubé has served in the roles of chief executive officer (CEO), chief restructuring officer (CRO) and principal on-site operating executive on restructuring engagements in the telecommunications, cable, call center, business process outsourcing and financial sectors. He has provided advisory services to companies, investors and lenders in connection with CLECs, LECs, data carriers and other telecommunications service providers. His services have also included providing strategic and marketing evaluations, operational assessments, due diligence reviews and performance improvement services to companies, lenders and investors in the cable and telecommunications sectors.
In addition, Mr. Dubé has advised major law firms in connection with litigation support engagements in the cable, telecommunications, internet, consumer products, cellular and telecom equipment industries. He has also provided post-effective Chapter 11 plan administrator and claim resolution services.
Client engagements in which Mr. Dubé was appointed as an executive officer include serving as CRO of Broadstripe, CRO of PRC and CEO of Birch Telecom. He was also the on-site operations restructuring executive in the Chapter 11 restructuring of CTC Communications Group and provided turnaround management services in the Chapter 11 cases of Pacific USA Holdings and Pac-West Telecomm.
Mr. Dubé joined FTI with its acquisition of CXO, a boutique turnaround and advisory services firm where he was a principal. Prior to that, Mr. Dubé was president of Core Networks, a developer of network management software for cable operators’ high-speed internet service offerings. Before that, he was employed by Canadian cable, telecom and broadcaster, Le Groupe Vidéotron and its U.S. subsidiary, OpTel, a video, voice and data service provider, for which he served as chief operating officer.
His early career included commercial banking, real estate development and investment, venture capital and institutional investment roles with public and private companies.
Mr. Dubé holds an M.B.A. in finance from York University and a B.Comm. in finance from Carleton University.
