Prior to joining FTI, Mr. Weisser served in the role of chief financial officer of a $1.2 billion manufacturer with global distribution. His responsibilities included finance, supply chain management, information systems, planning, global sourcing and risk management. Mr. Weisser’s contribution in this role included completion of a $305 million credit facility as well as supply chain and risk management savings in excess of $45 million while maintaining service levels and supplier partnerships. Further, he developed a planning process with liquidity and operational metrics to support decision-making during a historical cyclical downturn in sales and profits while achieving bank liquidity targets. He also reduced staffing by more than 10 percent without loss of functionality or increased turnover.
Previously, Mr. Weisser served as chief integration officer and chief operating officer for a private equity sponsored combination of two leading manufacturers. In addition, he served as chief financial officer for a number of leading consumer companies, including Snyder’s of Hanover, Conestoga Wood Specialties and Zausner Foods (European based Bongrain Soparind Group). Mr. Weisser’s initial work began with Armstrong World Industries, a leading international manufacturer of home and commercial furnishings, in positions that included both operational and financial responsibilities. Mr. Weisser holds a B.S. in accounting from Villanova University and completed the management program at the Center for Creative Leadership. He is a member of the Institute of Management Accounts, Association of Corporate Growth and Financial Executive International, where he is a former chapter president. |
